Recall that Muslim participants, including youth organizations and Muslim women, at a press conference on Wednesday called on the country’s government to win over former public schools in the state to allow Muslim female students to wear the hijab in their uniforms.

The Muslim community said that since the state government had taken over the schools, the former missionaries were no longer able to run the schools.
